This is really not that difficult:


First you create for each "number"  a grafic symbol. Then  you create 9 movie

clips; for each number one.


In the first keyframe of a movieclip you drag the corresponding grafic symbol

and ad the action "stop" to the keyframe.


put your cursor on the second frame and press f6 (insert>keyframe) put your

cursor on frame 10  and press f6 again.


select the symbol in second frame and go to modify>transform>scale and rotate

and set the scale to 200%. Press ctrl i (modify>instance) and set the alpha to

0%.


Double-click between frame 2 and 10  and create a motion tween and select

rotate:counterclockwise 1 time.


Do this for all the numbers (or other keys) you want


Drag all the movie clips on the stage.

Select movieclip "1",  press ctrl i and type 1 in the instance field

Select movieclip "2",  press ctrl i and type 2 in the instance field....


Create  a button with a small shape only in the "hit" keyframe (so you can see

it on the stage)

Drag the button on the stage in it's own layer , a small circle will appear.

Press the circle select modify>instance>actions


Select on mouse event from the pulldown menu and select the last option. "on

key press" type 1 in the field next to it.

Select "tell target".  Double click on ''1"

Select "go to"> "frame 2 "> select "play"


Select on mouse event from the pulldown menu and select the last option. "on

key press" type 2 in the field next to it.

Select "tell target".  Double click on ''2"

Select "go to"> "frame 2 "> select "play"...


Test your movie
