FLASH: What's with those CROSSHAIRS?!

i'm getting a really weird bug where every cursor/tools changes to these 

crosshairs in a circle and the only thing it does is draw a big line. 

whatda?!



i've tried reinstalling the software, restarting the mac, trashing the 

prefs, even virgin sacrifice and nothing fixes it. worse yet, sometimes 

it does it and then i'll come back and it won't be doing it anymore. what 

gives?!



anyone experience this? have any ideas on it?
