Hi,

Here is a slightly roundbout route but it might work well (I am not sure
what formats MapInfo supports)

Import into FreeHand using MapPublisher 3 Xtra from Avenza
(www.avenza.com). Then export as .SWF from FreeHand 8.0.1.

(from the MAPublisher website)

MAPublisher Import Filters: for importing
Geographic
Information System (GIS) map file formats
(vector and
raster images) with all attributes intact; in
DLG, SDTS,
ArcInfo generate, ArcView shapefile, DXF, and
MapInfo mid/mif file formats and then mapping
those
files to a chosen page size or map scale.
MAPublisher
now imports and registers JPEG and TIFF
georeferenced files and delimited text files
for database
import and joining.
