The exported .swf file is cross platform and includes all the Font
information inside of it. There is no need to have the fonts used in it
to be on the user's computer. There is also no need to break apart the
fonts into outlines.

For working on the design of a Flash file you should use the FLA file.
Also you need the same fonts on both computers. Because of this font
need, cross platform design can be difficult.
For local standalone playback of the swf file (not through a browser)
you need the correct Flash player. There are players for Win32, Win16,
Mac68 and PowerMac. The .swf file is the same, only the players differ.
By the same token the executable projectors must be created from the
correct player (Mac68 from Mac68 player etc). All the players are
included in the Players Folder within your Flash Directory.
