You can make 'empty' swf files which contain nothing but the
music. Probably the most browser compatible way to go for
sounds on the internet.
Here's an example of a Flash4 movie which loads sound-only swfs
on demand: http://sounds.muinar.com/Preview/. Why not load sound
files in swf format from a simple html page?
Seems to me that sound-only files are one of the 'unexplored'
(because of being too simple?) fascinating uses of Flash,
like maybe ad banners or vectorized pictures/graphics. Why
don't we see them everywhere?
