Subject: RE: FLASH: Buggy Flash SWFs?

jd,

It must be something with the player because it is a 5 .swf but I have Flash
5 installed so shouldn't that call up the Flash 5 standalone player? I also
have Flash 4 installed as well - Flash 4 was installed first and then Flash
5 was installed. You know what? I just checked and when I double click the
.swf and then right click, it lists at the bottom "About Flash 4 Player..."
- how do I get it to default to play with the Flash 5 Player? Am on
Windows...

Thanks,
jb

Hmm, if this is "What's a way a movie can work in Preview, and work in a
browser, but fail if I doubleclick it?" then one way is if the doubleclick
calls up the Macromedia Flash 4 standalone player, rather than the 5.0
version. That's one way to reach the description, although I can't tell if
it's *the* way, though. (But I may have misunderstood the scenario too...)
