Subject: | FLASH: Using GIFs when plug-in not installed |

Hi folks,
Does anyone know how to get GIFs to show up consistently in place of
shockwave movies when the plug in or active-x component is not detected.
I'm not too hot on hand scripting JavaScript and have been using AfterShock
with success until now. The problem being that the GIF's often
(particularly in Netscape) show up in addition to the Shockwave animation
(usually below it at the bottom of the page).
Can anyone help or direct me to a solution or examples of how it can work.
A typical useful example is for small shockwave animations on pages (e.g.
banner adverts)
Cheers
Rob
