Hiya Guys,

THis is kinda silly,

I think there is much more to critique than shapes used in the design. How about
the
shematic work or ease of use. Does it benefit the client or get across what the
client
is trying to say? Is it easily deciphered by the viewer? Could the size been
reduced and streamlined better?

So many "critics" look at the eye candy and not the paradigm of the work.

Everything that has ever been, has been created from some kind of reference
sometimes unconsciously. Effectively combining these collection of references and
experiences to create you own outcome is true originality.

The bottom line is that Flash animation must be kept to a minimum when used for
web design because of the current processing capabilities and baud rate speeds.
Because of this, basic shapes, gradients and lines are used in design and
animation. Ovals and circles usually being the majority. The real "originality" is
how you define and animate those basic shapes.

just my 2 cents.
