I also have a loop of Stardust on my webpage, even if someone from
the record label would complain, I assume they would tell me to take
it off, and only if I don't then they would take court measures, correct?
Anyone know anything more about what happens when one uses
copyrighted sound loops from music?
I just talked to Narada yesterday and they implied they wouldn't be so nice.
Using the loop without securing position and then expecting them to say
please is a bit like grabbing someone else's sandwich, taking a bite and
then acting surprised when they complain.
That said-- Companies could do a lot better job of posting the standards for
use for their labels. It took me a month to get a response and when I did
they asked me to answer all the questions on a form buried on their web site
(many points of which I had already covered in my first e-mail.)
