but...it's very important to remember now that the web demographic has

permanently changed. the majority of surfers and on-line buyers now appear

to be women in two age groups, what you might call "cosmo girls" and yep,

"moms." "grandmas" and "tweenager/teenage girls" are beating up close behind

'em. further, they are now buying 85% of the stuff sold online.


as more countries gain more robust connections, and web usage spreads, the

percentage of women on the net will grow. let's take a moment to quote from

david ogilvy here, "the consumer is your wife and you don't want to talk

down to her."<g>
