I'm sorry there are problems there. I'm not sure what may be causing the

difference though.


A particular old movie may well have one of the frequently-discussed naming

problems... this has been the overwhelming cause found in old movies that

don't display in the new Player. (See technote #14610 for info on common

naming strategies.)


However, if installing a browser plugin causes an old application to no

longer work, then that would usually indicate a severe problem on that

computer. In such a case, starting with a diagnostic utility would be the

best first step.


I'm sorry I can't advise which particular section of the scripting needs to

change to make it work like other movies, but I hope the above general info

is a useful guide to getting the expected results again.
