Go buy Hillman Curtis's book "Flash Web Design" for a step by step

tutorial......Or take your QT movie into Premier select the portion of the

footage that you want to use export as a movie go into settings change the

file type to Windows bitmap Sequence (or pict sequence for mac) change thr

range to work area click next, Enter frame size in pixels and specify the

frame rate...export.  Next you would import the sequential images into flash

and trace the bitmap images. There are a few tricks I left out, one is to

import your sequences into a movieclip instead of the main timeline......the

most important one is to film your subject matter with a blue screen, or

edit the images in photoshop cutting out useless information.....good luck

it's a lot of pre-production.

heya all--


I need to take a short QT clip and do the vectorized video effect 

with it (like ego media).  I've never done this and I'm looking for a 

tutorial on how to accomplish this--I've searched the major 

resources, but they only have the .fla with the vector frames already 

done.  I need to know how to make the video frames look vectorized 

before I import em into flash.  So, if you can point me to any 

tutorials on this please do.
