making the files vectorized:


this is a process in itself. hopefully you shot the footage on a green or

blue screen, it makes the ripping of the background color much easier


1st you need to bring the video into premiere and export it as a gif

sequence.


2nd bring the gif sequence into photoshop-convert to grayscale-then you

adjust the threshold so the object person whatever it is is black.


3rd you save those files and import it into flash as a MC


now a little tip the file size is going to be huge after you import the

files, so what you do is you break apart each frame and after that you can

delete the actual bitmaps cause the image is broken apart now and it is not

using the actual image anymore, this also cleans up the image considerably.

heya all--


I need to take a short QT clip and do the vectorized video effect 

with it (like ego media).  I've never done this and I'm looking for a 

tutorial on how to accomplish this--I've searched the major 

resources, but they only have the .fla with the vector frames already 

done.  I need to know how to make the video frames look vectorized 

before I import em into flash.  So, if you can point me to any 

tutorials on this please do.
