Thanks Erin,
(Pardon me for being a tourist, I should join this list too!)
Illustrator 9.0 exports in Flash (.SWF) format. So if you're creating
artwork in Illustrator 9.0 and you want to take it into Flash, choose File
> Export and then choose Flash (SWF) as your format. Additionally,
Illustrator gives you options for the .SWF file, such as automatically
creating symbols, adjusting curve quality, and animating layers. There is a
good tutorial on our website for this at:
http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/illflshlyrs.html.
Illustrator's online help explains each of the options for exporting as
SWF. Choose Help > Illustrator Help, then click Search in the browser, and
type "Flash" as your search criteria.
Tom, to delete swatches, from the Swatches palette pop-up menu, choose
Select All Unused, then click the Trash icon at the bottom of the palette.
Alternately you can Shift+click to select multiple swatches then click the
Trash icon.
I hope this info helps.
Best regards,
Corey Gutch
