UKNM: Happy new millennium

As we approach the dawn of a new millennium (to anyone who can count) I

thought it might be useful to offer some advice on how to run a successful

new business - dotcom or otherwise - in 2001.


1. Priority Number One: customer service

2. Realistic financial projections

3. Think creatively, act responsibly


Here's wishing all UKNM members a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.


And congrats to the winners of our Christmas Fun competition.


The correct answer was: Dancer, Prancer, Dasher, Vixen, Cupid, Comet, Donder

(however spelt) and Blitzen. Entries with the correct answer were drawn at

random.


Various people included Rudolf, which the judges deemed acceptable so long

as the other eight were mentioned.


The prizes - DVD player, Bottle of Glenmorangie, Six �20 Amazon vouchers,

will be winging their way to the winners with the usual rapidity expected in

the Dotcom world. Several UKNM members won prizes - which just goes to show

that most UKNM members have time on their hands (just kidding!).
