Personally, I think 'Flash' is aptly named. Here's a compare and contrast to
(hopefully) settle the argument - or maybe start a new one.

Coles is the largest supermarket chain in Australia - take a look at their
corporate presence at:

First look at the entry page - talk about first impressions!
Then there's the whole 'please wait...loading' thing.
Once you get in, it's very thin on content - very much a case of forget the
quality, feel the width!

OK, so they do have an online shopping site - lets go there:

Boy, that entry page looks familiar...
Then more loading.....
Then you have to go through FOUR clicks just to find out if you are in a
delivery area!

Sure it LOOKS great - but functionally it's a piece of crap!

Compare this effort with ANY of these sites from a much larger market that
has (hopefully) learned it's lesson:
