Aha. As an ex-milkman I can report that people will nick anything off a

float, that the milkmen are generally bigger thieves than the customers, and

that floats can do over 35 mph if you can find a big enough hill.


I don't see how milk floats can do anything about the big constraints on

home delivery - they're not refrigerated so they can't be relied on for

perishables, and they do nothing to address the problem of what to do with

the goods if the customer is out or asleep.


Now, if we all had a refrigerated chest bolted to our houses, with a

Bluetooth-enabled bar code reader-cum-lock.........am I dreaming again, or

is anyone going to make this happen?
