Interesting interpretation.

But, to be fair, I'm pretty sure everyone here seems realistic about the
balance
between Old and New Media - both now and in the future.

The main objection I've seen has been to sloppy, third-rate, sensationalist
coverage of brainless scare stories.

On the other hand, as an ex broadcast person myself, it seems odd that this
should surprise anyone. TV has spent the last ten years covering the easy
story
at the expense of any kind of objectivity.
