I think that as the industry starts to mature (are we mature yet???), that
better financial controls will be in plasce to avoid serious issues of
cashflow problems.

I agree the point of putting it in escrow is a good idea, otherwise good 'ol
50% upfront, 25% on completion and then 25% within 28 days of completion
should keep everyone happy...

But all online businesses if they are to survive really do need to manage
their cashflows and make sure they have some good financial managers.
