.......unless the site is hard to navigate. In Net Values's October "top
mall sites" tesco.com has 15.9 minutes per user. Not necessarily a good
thing as this may well be due to the fact that the ordering system
sometimes crashes and you have to re-input. Admittedly, round here, once
you get it ordered it seems to fulfill ok.

Personally I think most of the metrics used for new media are twaddle -
activity based rather than sales based.
