It would be ok (although I'm not in love with it) if.....

(a) It didn't take best part of a minute to get the front page up, and we
have a far from slow connection here, I would have though most users would
have given up thinking there connection had died ?

(b) I could get out of the 'ident' type screens (that appear before each
section) or do away with them full stop, they are just so anoying once you
have seen one of them.

(c)This page didn't give me a strange E symbol

(d) I find all the pictures of people with silly soundbites kind of
patronising ... The kind of "your one of us, feel safe with us" crap which
would turn me off this service straight away. The same tactic use by
Financial Advisors, which I hate as well.

What would be better is a "here is the info" make your mind up, but I doubt
that would work from the Pru's point of view.

What I always wanted to do was walk into a building society and turn the
terminal on the desk round and work out my own pension plan, rather than
let some kid I went school with, who passed 0 GCSE's tell me what to do
with my money, just because he is a Prudential or Abbey Life so called
"Financial Advisors" (read insurance salesman).
