I'd always try www.davesparts.co.uk first, even if its a multinational. I
typically want UK prices, UK contact numbers, etc.

Also, I'd hazard a guess that more UK companies use the .co.uk rather than
the .com or both, simply due to the lack of available .com domains, and for
SMEs, the price difference.

So, if I'm typical, it makes sense to get the .co.uk rather than the .com if
you can only have one.

Obviously, if you are setting up some global web-based thing like
hotmail.com, then this changes everything...
