In response to Ranulf's message, "can we refrain from
blatant plugs?" ... well sometimes it's very hard indeed.

For instance, I've been scanning this discussion group eagerly
for over a week now hoping that someone would bring up a
question like, "How do I do email marketing successfully?"
or "what type of response rates should I get from email
marketing?" ... because then I could ever-so-gracefully send
a list-wide reply giving a subtle plug to our hands-on email
marketing workshop (just 49 pounds) next week.

Well, nobody's obliged me and there are only 10 tickets left for
our afternoon session and I'd dearly like you to have a chance at
them. So I guess this is an absolutely shameless plug and you
ought to flame me for it:

Would you like to get your email marketing questions answered
by one of the world's top experts? We're flying over Kim
MacPherson to London for two, half-day workshops 25th Oct.
Only 20 people allowed in each session so you get lots of
personal attention. Only 49 pounds a person. Very
convenient Regent St location.

Morning workshop is SOLD OUT. Only 10 tickets left for
afternoon workshop. So RSVP quickly on the link below
to get yours:

BTW: we're not taking a profit on this event -- does
that make it any less shameless????
