Excite Signs Exclusive Pan-European Deal to be SEGA Dreamcast's Internet

London, 9th September 1999. Excite has signed a pan-European agreement with

SEGA Europe to become its exclusive Internet search and navigation partner

for the revolutionary new Dreamcast console.


SEGA Europe's Dreamcast Console has a built in 33.6kbps modem enabling

gamers to access the internet through their TV set. Once connected to the

internet, Dreamcast users will be able to access Excite's localised search

capabilities in the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, and France. Excite's leading

search engine is simple to use and will help gamers manage the huge amount

of information available on the internet.

Still haven't found anyone who's browsed the Web with it or (shock!)

actually played an on-line game.
