Inflated expectations. In today's climate (well, maybe yesterday's climate)

every business idea has to be a Yahoo or Amazon, anyone trying to build

a �5million/year business is a chump. It's a "Nine figure-plus market cap or

Bust!" environment; but if you take an idea which could make a nice,

profitable

�5 million/year business with 20 employees, then borrow tens of millions of

pounds and hire a hundred employees, your chances of reaching the latter

destination are much greater than reaching the former.


The reason the internet is a great business environment is that you can use

it to do more with less. That idea has been lost in the rush.
