But Ben, perhaps they do, although its not the sort of subscribers we
techies really identify with; basically, MS have struck on the holy grail
for them; passive net surfers, AKA mouse potatoes. Nice work if you can get
it, and its ubiquity, developed by co-branding among the Visps (and not
asking for silly money like the other portals for co-branding) was a smart
move to snare the newbies and keep 'em the way God intended was a move to
make the Jesuits (and AOL) proud.

What irks me is the domination of MSN.com MSN.co.uk, Microsoft.com,
Microsoft.co.uk in the top ten, when it's patently clear that most of the
respondents haven't the foggiest as to which URL their site pertains.
Doesn't do the boys in Redmond any harm though...
