RE: UKNM: payment problems

We've had the same problem. No matter how often we tell them to remove us

from their list they continue to 'phone. Not only that, we once (at the

start of the rag's illustrious career) took a double page spread with them.

Since then, and through no encouragement on our part,  they have cut the ad

in half (literally) and published the right hand side as a single page

whenever they felt like it.


"Did you ask them to do this?" you might cry. Well no, as a matter of fact

we didn't.

"Aren't you pleased that you're getting a free advertisement?" you might

ask. No. It's only half an ad. so it doesn't really make sense. Nor is it

any part of our planned strategy.

"Have you told them this?" is the next question. Yes, several times. They

promise to do something and then seem to forget about it.

"Have you spoken to a beagle?" Of course. But unless we can prove lost

business or something adverse that can be directly related to them running

the ad. there's little we can do.

"What are you going to do?"  Contribute to lists like this and warn others.

Anywa, I have asked them a million times to take me off their telephone list

but every couple of days i get a call from them trying to sell me

advertising
