>From my experience the best content management systems are built from
scratch for a project. Off the shelf solutions tend to lead to a certain way
of working that may not be right for the project. The only exception being
large multidimensional projects where generic solutions will work.
It's also amazing what you can do with a perl script and a small bit of FTP!
Note I don't speak for the guru status content strategists I work with.
