IDM have been running internet/ ecommerce courses for over 3 years now.
IDM is an independent commercial company, and to some extent demand led. The
IDM's course programme may not therefore reflect whether or not they 'get
it'
How many people were running non technical internet courses before 1997?

If actions speak louder than words, try booking a course at the CIM's
website.
The IDM has offered online course booking for 2 years. I'm not suggesting
that
IDM is a radical innovator on the bleeding edge of the net economy, but nor
are
they backward.

True - some people think e mail is post without the stamp. It's an entirely
different communications medium, with its own creative & logistical
challenges.
But it would be wrong to assume & imply that the IDM thinks the same way.
