Go with Real.  It is definitely of higher 

quality, but also runs on Macs and *nix

platforms (12% of users round this neck of

the woods).  


If Gavin at Tornado referred to converting

formats, it's almost certainly a production

process (not client-end) and only for pre-

recorded material.


Meanwhile several little birds tell me that

the new alpha version of Windows Media 

Services v5 can stream Real and Quicktime

as well.  Can you hold out for another 6 

months?
