Hi
We buy and sell banner ads for a number of clients, and as ever, it depends
on the creative.
I know of one customer who bought a 100 campaign and sold 15,000 of DVDs
(clickthru ration was 64.something %)
I also know of a customer spending 2000 a month for less than 500 visitors,
who is perfectly happy with the brand awareness he is creating.
Banner advertising is never going to be the be all and end all of online
marketing that it maybe once was, but it still has it's place in conjunction
with other forms of promotion

Nikki Pilkington

I suppose when you work for a big glamour house like yours, the desks are so
far apart that you never get to talk to anyone. And it is cruel of me to try
to help you dig yourself in any further with your employers, so I will
decist.
