Allison has worked largely for service sector businesses, starting at one of the top 5 consultancies, then using her management skills in a multinational relocation business, before moving on to the marketing and communications sector. She has worked at board level in local, regional and London agencies, applying strategic thinking, developing businesses and people, and improving commercial returns.
Uniquely, Allison is also a Chartered Accountant and a Business Psychologist, allowing her to combine her shrewd business sense with an ability to understand the human issues involved in any group working together.
Allison founded Consultrix in March 2005. Specialising in working within the Creative, IT and knowledge-based sectors, Consultrix is a consultancy firm which aims to help small and medium sized businesses set and achieve their business goals and objectives. As each of their client's business needs are unique, Consultrix work with their wide variety of clients in different ways. They offer strategic consultancy, development and delivery of one-off projects, tailor-made workshops, coaching, mentoring and training.
