Mellissa worked in analog media as a producer of films and commercials before discovering the wonderful world of digital and started Media-sauce. A few pixels later, she now works building digital and business strategies for companies and enables the creation, facilitation and optimization of networks within organisations to advance goals and increase innovation.
Mellissa has also worked as a sales and business consultant for clients like BBC, NixonMcinnes, Npower, Business in the community, Robert Half, Pathway recruitment.
Mel was the Director of Social Media Week and the London Games Fringe and in 2007 won the 'Socially Responsive' category at MIPTV’s 360 degree competition in 2007.
In her spare time Mellissa is writing a interactive book for teenagers and spends time learning to grow things.
Her first job was selling books door to door in the Smokey mountains where she learnt how to run away from big dogs, avoid houses/gardens with ornamental car parts and got addicted to Mountain Dew and frozen custard.
