b.TWEEN is the media¹s UK¹s only cross media forum, where change makers and innovators from TV, the web, mobiles, and creative technology can exchange ideas and do business.

The b.TWEEN 08 VIP Launch event will be held at the Manchester Art Gallery on Moseley Street on Wednesday 18th June from 7pm.

The evening will feature the first element of the b.TWEEN 08 programme:
pitches developed through the innovative Explodng Narrative project developed with HP Labs.

Throughout the three days of b.TWEEN 08 the public can vote for their favourite Exploding Narrative, online or via SMS. These short punchy pitches will propose pioneering technology based projects, one of which will win £10,000 at the b.TWEEN 08 awards ceremony on Friday afternoon to make their idea into reality.

b.TWEEN drags conferencing kicking and screaming into the 21st century:
using open source technologies in innovative ways to break the ice, get attendees talking and inviting delegates onto the stage.

b.TWEEN brings together ideas hungry big players with indies with big ideas on a level playing field.

Nowhere else will you find such a diverse gathering of influentials and
pioneers: all hungry to explore what can happen when the worlds of Advertising, Creative Technology, Film, Games, Mobile, TV, and Web collide.

Speakers for b.TWEEN 08 feature experts and innovators from across branding, TV, interactive, mobile, digital strategy and web including: Bill Tidy
(cartoonist/writer) who will draw his talk around the audience on a giant role of paper, Angel Gambino (VP, Music, Bebo), Kaiser Quo (Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, China), Jellyellie (Œvoice of the MSN generation¹) plus speakers from the BBC, Aegis, Orange, Channel 4 and a whole host of incredible indies.
