Ecommerce Expo 2008
Description
E Commerce Expo 2008 will once again be welcoming industry professionals to discuss the issues facing decision makers from the world of e-commerce when it opens its doors on 28th and 29th October 2008 at Olympia, London.
Now in its second successful year E commerce Expo has quickly become
the industry's leading event and is the only major exhibition in the UK that is
exclusively dedicated to selling online - from delivery of relevant site traffic
through to service delivery and customer retention.
Building on last
year's achievements, which delivered just under 2,500 attendees and 110
exhibitors, E Commerce Expo is moving to the prestigious National Hall Olympia
for 2008. Some 150 exhibitors will be at the show including: Google, PayPal,
Barclaycard, Actinic, VisualSoft, Design UK, EmailVision and Adobe Scene
7.
"The first E Commerce Expo in 2007 was a real triumph and with online
sales growing at around 30% per annum e-commerce makes up a significant route to
market. "We are looking forward to record breaking attendance in 2008" said
Justin Opie, Event Director, E Commerce Expo.
An additional benefit of
attending is the high quality educational conference programme which runs
alongside the event and is free to attend. IMRG, the UK's leading membership
community for the e-retail industry has recently partnered with E Commerce Expo
and will be running some strategic education seminars and keynote presentations
which are also free for all delegates.
"Our partnership with IMRG is really
exciting and we know it will prove invaluable to our visitors," explains
Opie. "Although growing fast, e-commerce is still very much in its infancy.
So education is essential if we want to see the market grow. Visitors will also
have the added benefit of an IMRG run advice centre on the show floor". He
concluded.
The education programme will also include speakers from
leading e-commerce practitioners including Tesco, Lastminute.com, IKEA and Otto
UK. In total there will be over 60 free education sessions to attend. Google
will also be running its famous University sessions as well as running
presentations on its stand.
