On Wednesday 21 September, we'll be looking at term sheets for early stage investments - and not just any old term sheets, because we'll be explaining the Seed Summit Term Sheet (see:http://seedsummit.org/legal-docs/) to give our view on what to look out for if presented with this document, or what else you need to think about if using it for your own investments.
This session will be led by Bootlaw founder, Danvers Baillieu andJonathan Snade.
Jonathan is a Senior Associate in the corporate team at Pinsent Masons. He specialises in advising on private company M&A and investments. Much of Jonathan's work is focussed in particular on the technology sector, having advised on a wide range of strategic acquisitions, disposals, buyouts and investments.
The format of the evening will be, as usual:
6.30pm - Doors open, beer and networking
7pm - Legal bit starts.
8pm - Legal bit ends; more beer, pizza and networking.
9pm - End; head to the pub ( White Horse, Exchange Square)
