In the 2011 IET John Logie Baird lecture, David Docherty the Chairman of the Digital TV Group (DTG) will outline the evolution of UK digital television to date and highlight the creative, technical and business benefits of the emergence of new digital television technology.
This lecture will examine how the digital television system will evolve over the coming years and ask how the UK can apply its established lead in broadcast television to global hybrid services while ensuring simplicity, protection and quality for the viewer.
