Node.js is a cutting edge technology that’s changing the way real-time web apps are developed. Although not completely new, this is something that many UK developers are not familiar with, which is why we would like to give you all the opportunity to explore this further with some free beers and pizza at our next Meetup event; the Node.js Showcase and discuss if Node.js is really new the new Ruby on Rails.
What will is the format of the event?
Beginner and ‘hardcore’ Node.js developers will come together to discuss and showcase Node.js related projects (including R&D) with the panel of experts that will be demoing some Node.js examples. After the event we will move to a local pub giving you the opportunity to network over more beers.
