Kate Matlock, a digital strategist at Ketchum Pleon, holds a MA in Design Studies from Central Saint Martins where her thesis sought to answer “How can digital presence strengthen trust in offline interactions through the curation of digital narratives”. The question investigated whether an online profile could be designed in a way to expedite the trust process. Putting a twist on this research with her own anecdotes on the adventures of online dating and a few dos and don’ts learned along the way, Kate hopes to encourage people to practice safe online dating and keep the PDA on social channels to a minimum.
