This event explores the direct relationship celebrities now have with the public through social channels. It will discuss the importance of reputation management and the social responsibilities of communicating en-mass. It will also explore the potential value of this relationship in terms of audience demographics – their buying habits, sentiment and behaviour as social media feeds have the potential to become a direct sales channel.

Speakers:

Mark McCullum will discuss his experiences working with Gok Wan, one of Britain’s best loved TV celebrities, and how they work together to manage Gok’s online fan base. He will talk about the differences between his Twitter account @goksworld, Gok’s own Twitter feed @therealgokwan as well asGok’s Facebook pageGoogle + and Gok’s official web site
Daisy Cresswell, will talk about the importance of integrity and reputation guardianship when communicating en-mass through social networks. She will provide top tips for established and emerging celebrities for managing their reputation and fan bases online.

David Ellis will discuss the importance of data analysis and how the future value of large fan-bases online should be evaluated.

Steve Kuncewicz will discuss the legal framework for Social Media in a fun and entertaining way
