i coded a version of it ... not as smooth, but it does support multiple

columns and is much faster:

there is a tutorial for this effect here on the date added april 16. called

tube morpher. it's SLOW.

also, in the praystation effect, the text is most of the code for the

effect. i couldn't get it to work, but i got a lot of setup clues from it.
