FLASH: movie button made of scenes?

Hi 


I have to create a movie clip button which has different behaviors along

time. 

First it gets small, then rotates, then something else, then stop.

How should I make it? Scenes or layers? 

I am not much competent in Flash, anybody could recommend a tutorial

site regarding this facet?
