Actually, I have made a bit of code that is cross-browser which allows you to refer to individual frames of Flash very easily within the
URL its self. It could be modified with very little difficulty to work with MCs inside the movie rather than the movie its self.
You can find the code in the advanced FLA section of

It is called Cross-Browser Goto Frame
