FLASH: Flash : After format C : weird !!

Hi all,


Yesterday I had too go through the somewhat experience of a unwanted Format

C. Trouble with IE 4 (that's news!) . Well, I managed to save my flash files

to a different HD on my PC, but some strange things happened when I tried to

open a swf file when all was reinstalled. First off, the pc asked me what

program to use when opening this type of file, well... flash offcourse.

Nothing happens ! After a while the swf opens as if it were a .fla ! Also,

and here is the weird thing: Every frame in the movie had been turned into a

keyframe !


This I do not understand. Does anyone have any clue as to what I am doing

wrong ?  I use win98, IE 4 on a PC.


Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
