As easy as they are to create in Flash, and as little as I (and many
others, I suspect) use round-cornered rectangles, and as much programming
as would be necessary to provide everybody's likes and dislikes (i.e.,
radii control, axial proportional sizing, etc.), I'd rather Macromedia save
on program bloat and put the effort into things that can only be provided
by Flash, as there are at least three illustration packages, all providing
formats importable as vectors into Flash, that can do round-cornered
rectangles.
And, no, there is no tool for that in PhotoShop, either (at least, not 3.05
or 4 -- might be in 5).
