FLASH: Creating a Symbol

Hi All:


I have a complex logo that I've created in flash. There are several layers

to this logo. Now that I've finished it, I was wondering if there was a way

to convert this whole image as a Symbol?  


Also, I don't need the entire background, how should I crop it before

converting as a symbol if possible.
