Hi J,

It seems like you could do this with 3 MC's.

MC1 has a keyframe labelled "start" with your ocean and gulls file, with
sync set to Event and set to loop a bunch of times, probably with a nice
fade in at the beginning. It has another keyframe labelled "stop" with the
ocean and gulls file again, with Sync set to Stop.

MC2 has a keyframe labelled "start fadeout" with the ocean and gulls sound
again, with a short fade in and a nice fadeout, and set to loop just enough
times to last through the fade out. Add 10 or 20 empty keyframes, then add
a keyframe with an action to TT MC1 to GOTO and Stop "stop", and an action
to Stop (to stop itself).

MC3 has a keyframe labelled "start" with the new sound set to loop a bunch
of times and with a nice fade in.

So you start out with a TellTarget to MC1 to GOTO "start" so that the ocean
and gulls file starts looping. When the user clicks on the entry point,
send a TT to MC2 to GOTO and Play "start fadeout" so that another ocean and
gulls loop fades in, then TT's the original loop in MC1 to stop, and then
loops while it's fading out. Also, on the user's click, TT MC3 to GOTO
"start" so that the new loop will fade in while the original one is fading
out (via MC2).

Add Stop actions, and use GOTO and Stop or GOTO and Start as appropriate,
and I think this ought to work.

Dave
