FLASH: Help!!! Can't drag symbols on the scene anymore

Hello fellow-flashers,


we have a problem with flash on one of our machines:

I really don't know when this happenend for the first time, but sincea few

days it is not possible anymore to drag a symbol onto the scene...

First I thought it had something to do with flashs poor memory management

but this problem occurs also when working with very small project files.

Does anybody know about this topic; e.g. how to fix it (is there possibly a

patch) or how to prevent this from happening? Any help, suggestion, advice

or a simple statement whatever would be highly appreciated.

(already beginning to feel like a dumba** bloke; copying another symbol,

pasting it to the scene and then changing it to the symbol I genuinely

wanted to have)

PS: I work on a G4 with MACOS 9.0.4 with 120MB ram allocated to flash
