Hi, John.
Layered, looping for duration of mouseover.
The idea is an illusion of a single button whose sound gets more complex as
the mouse nears the center. For instance, at the perimeter the user might
hear a single note (consisting of either one very long note or, more
realistically, a short tone that is looped 999 times). Halfway in, a
second note is added. At the center, a third note is added, so the user
hears some kind of a musical chord. Upon exit, the notes disappear one at
a time in reverse order.
Thanks for your help. Len, I appreciate your suggestion too; it's a good
alternative and I may have been making this more complicated than necessary.
