Thank you to everyone who has posted comments to me both on list and
off-list. I was able to justify the training necessary to do the projects
we dreamed up. I took your posts, ideas, suggestions and submitted them to
the tech lead. I had to justify why the training is needed.
You should all be happy to know that a test was done by the client to see
what would load faster into their Digital Dashboard, a flash site ( I set up
a demo for them) or a regular site. The flash site was the most impressive
results they've seen and my training is now approved! Both myself and my
team lead have been approved for Figleaf training in Atlanta, Macromedia
training, 3D training, along with anything else we need to make this project
happen.
To bad there are not local VB programmers who also know ASP on this list, in
this area. We are in need of 3 more people on our team. C++ / and VB
programmer to be assigned to me until I am trained fully in ActionScripts
and can work on my own projects.
Thank you very much for your assistant.
John, as for the msagent, that's exactly what I was trying to explain but I
thought it was voice recognition. Thank you. Something else we have to
research and get training on. What a client we have!!!
Sincerely,
Colleen
